One example of how Weaver’s mission and environmental responsibility go hand in hand is the lifecycle of paper, starting with our Records Management division and ending with SecurShred. Together, these services help businesses reduce waste and protect sensitive information, while supporting inclusive employment.
At Records Management, confidential documents are carefully cataloged, stored and eventually digitized to reduce reliance on paper. Once these documents are no longer needed, they can be securely transferred to SecurShred, where they are destroyed in an environmentally friendly way. The shredded material is then recycled into new paper products, completing the cycle.
This process doesn’t just benefit the planet, it also creates meaningful jobs for individuals with disabilities at both stages of the paper lifecycle.
